Soakwise™, from Eco Hot Tubs

Soakwise is a solar, battery and heat pump kit that retrofits the hot tub you already own. It captures sunshine, stores it, and uses it to run a heat pump instead of your tub's built-in heater. The app decides when to heat, so nothing about the way you use your tub changes — just the bill. Built and tested in Devon.

Soakwise Conversion Kit — £2,195

The whole system: a 610W bifacial solar panel on an adjustable ground frame, a smart power box holding LiFePO4 batteries, an inverter and the EcoBrain onboard computer, an efficient heat pump with a low-draw circulation pump, and a pre-assembled insulated hose kit with brand-matched fittings. App control, monitoring and automatic energy switching included. Founder price £1,845 — save £350, limited to the first 10 systems.

Soakwise Heat Pump — £895

Heat pump and circulation pump, hose kit and fittings, app control. Solar-ready, so you can add the panel and power box later at a guaranteed £1,300 upgrade price locked for two years.

It fits the tub you already own

• Made for Lay-Z-Spa, CleverSpa, Canadian Spa, Wave Spa and Intex inflatable and foam tubs.
• Plug-and-play: no electrician, no draining the tub, connected in minutes.
• No roof, no planning permission.
• The heat pump targets 40°C, works down to −15°C, and heats twice as fast as the tub's original pump. The circulation pump draws less power than a light bulb.
